A cosy tea room that offers great home made menu and good selection choices of tea hidden in between list old buildings in a beautiful historical village called Chiddington.The whole village is owned by National Trust. The best is their jumbo sausage roll, I can't never get enough. I truely recommend to pop in if you ever visit this beautiful village!!!
Lovely cafe and shop. The whole village is very quaint but this place is also incredibly functional. Yummy hot chocolate, teas, coffees, and cakes. They also do lunch and breakfast and are open all year round, only closing on Christmas day. They also make their own jams and sell potting supplies for gardeners.
Had been looking forward to salmon and egg, but reaching front of queue at 12:04pm they refused to serve that combination of ingredients. Apparently this caf classifies them as "breakfast", so staff cannot remove any from the fridge after midday! We had to settle for cake. This caf used to be famous for its large cakes, but we left feeling hungry :-

Food looks better than it tastes - at least what come with our afternoon tea. The scones were a bit dry and the sandwiches a bit bland and soggy. However, the staff were absolutely lovely and friendly (soz, guys!).
