Interesting local museum to learn about the local area. Has a small collection of very old gold coins found locally. Worthy of a visit but check opening hours first.
We had a warm welcome from Volunteers who worked there the Saturday, tea and cake went down very well they just ask for a donation, very interesting

A great social history museum!
I always enjoy popping into the museum when I have time. I like the way the exhibitions change so it's never the same for too long. The building, Church House, is a beauty in itself. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
